August 11, 2011

ICC and ICR completed the restoration of the Montgomery Monument located in the east window at St. Paul's Chapel. The monument, commissioned by the First Continental Congress and made possible by Benjamin Franklin, was designed and carved by the French sculptor, Jean-Jacques Caffieri. ICC and ICR disassembled the monument in order to properly clean and treat it. The reassembly completed the restoration.
