Joseph bacci – Conservator
Joe Bacci is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s M.Sc. in Historic Preservation Program with a concentration in Architectural Conservation. With an undergraduate degree focused on Archaeology and over a decade of general contracting experience, Joe has developed a passion for material science and historic building technologies. He has conducted fieldwork in numerous national parks in the American Southwest and devised a pilot-test program to stabilize a 34-million-year-old petrified tree for the National Park Service. Much of his previous experiences prior to joining ICR-ICC focused on non-destructive and remote sensing techniques applied to the field of Historic Preservation. Joe presented his graduate thesis research at the Association for Preservation Technology International (APTI) and the Association of North American Graduate Programs in Conservation (ANAGPIC).
